I don't like the politics of theater either, but when confronted with an Administration which uses theater as a normal state of affairs (The "Red" speech in Philly, for example), what choice is there? Bravo to Governors Abbott and DeSantis for getting everyone's attention. Many, alas, will still remain willfully blind. I just pray that their eyes will be opened by something other than a major terrorist outrage committed by some of those "gotaways".

As for Stacey Abrams: Well, she can always go back to writing those supermarket book section codice rippers....

The only time I’ve been in Athens on a football Saturday was to watch my Jackets shock UGA to break a losing streak - sound unlikely? It was a while ago.

That is an amazing add. Amazing. Abrams is done as a viable candidate, good.

At least this forced the Sunday morning talk shows to admit there is a problem. I thought Jonathan Karl on ABC (subbing for George Stephanopolus) pushed Eric Adams and his "powerhouse roundtable" to admit this is a problem for the Biden administration. Also, they interviewed the mayor of El Paso (who has been busing these immigrants for a while now) - they had a graphic showing El Paso was receiving up to 1300 illegal immigrants/day and he - the mayor - corrected the graphic to say the numbers are closer to 2000. So I think it is having its intended effect, even if the MSM is still trying to frame DeSantis and Abbott as kidnappers and human traffickers. The MSM is at least talking about the issue again.

A question for everyone here: What is Stacey Abrams appeal? She doe not have any good ideas, except when she mimics Kemp's ideas. I don't understand why she has any following.

I agree with Linda Gray drop them off at Biden’s Beach house or Susan Rice’s house.Maybe CNN or MSNBC’s Headquarters. They have created the issue and they should suffer the consequences. Give them signs that say Brown Lives Matter and (DNC) Deceiving Needy Citizens.

Climate Change is a Hoax.

Bet that would give them a Boost at the Republican polls.

It is a shame our national leadership cannot own up to a major mistake in changing our border policy in early 2021 and do the right thing for the right reasons.

One of my personal disappointments with people in general is the inability to acknowledge an error and use the insight gained to shift to a better plan.

Absolutely well stated. Just read where a Texas restaurant owner had to sell her business because it had been broken into 5 times since February. She is a second generation owner of this business. She doesn’t feel safe anymore, how sad. I would drop these migrants off on biden’s front door both in DC and Delaware. Then maybe on AOC’s porch.

In the absence of a spiritual context, none of this makes sense. If you remove the Father of Lies from almost any discussion these days, it becomes inexplicable why otherwise intelligent people ON BOTH SIDES fall prey to the wrong side of an argument when the facts are so incontrovertibly evident.

I usually don't quibble over spelling and grammar but it seems like everyone talks about "bussing" illegals, which isn't incorrect although bussing usually refers to clearing tables at a restaurant, and "busing" at least used to be the more common spelling for, eg, loading up Black kids to go to "white" schools.

It's easier to criticize an action, rather than inaction. Dems complain about the destructiveness of some action such as 1/6. There's nothing subtle about a national border. When Biden and supporters choose to ignore the border and flood of people they have no intention of dealing with beyond demagogic campaigns for their votes in a few years they defecate on their countrymen. Which is worse?
