Totally off the subject but I just saw a notification that the Wisconsin Supreme Court just ruled that Jill Stein will remain on the ballot.

Apparently they are not shills for the Democrats, at least not today.

1.) Whether we like it or not we live in a global village!!!!

2.) I spoke to three of my four children today. The first was the old fashioned way: face to face; the second while she was doing her kitchen cleanup in Shanghai; the third in a car on her way to the train station in rural France. Six decades ago when I went overseas to teach I communicated w/ my parents writing on onion skin air mail stationery and it took ten days to reach them. A ten-word telegram was available in case of an emergency. The magazines they sent me took six weeks via surface mail.

3.) In those days the "mass" media - both print and broadcast - was very local except if you had a radio w/ short-wave capability and even then atmospheric conditions prevailed and only a very few could afford the equipment.

4.) Today Pavel Durov, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg control social media platforms using the World Wide Web that can make a message available to billions of human beings in an instant.

5.) Do you really think America's founding fathers would have written the Bill of Rights' First Amendment the way they did if the Internet had been available in the late 18th century?

6.) We must find a way to protect those freedoms in an instantaneous global communications environment. It will not be easy.

This topic is a tad bit over my head, but as Frank Lee, Kathy, and Roger Beal said so well, selling our country out to a global government would make the democrats very happy.

One step closer to our demise.

Events like this make my slap my head over our elites screaming at us that globalism is good and needed and a benefit to the US.

We cannot collaborate effectively in our own republic... so why does anyone think that trying to forge a cooperative global order was ever in the cards? The only reason it worked for a while is that the US was giving away all its economic assets and thus those countries were certain to behave. Now that the cupboard is bare, those countries are doing what is in their nature and ignoring anything the US claims is the moral and ethical baseline for good social and economic policy.

These countries not only don't care about the US opinion of these things, they would prefer to just put a stick in our eye.

The democrats remain in power, we will see that exact thing happening here. And they have every intention of remaining in power. I do not think people are waking up.

The UN, the WEF, and the WHO all have treaties on the table awaiting the US government's signature. These treaties demand conformance to one set of global standards. Those standards do not resemble anything the framers of our Constitution had in mind.

But you can bet a $15 Big Mac meal that the next Democrat POTUS will sign these treaties and get them rammed thru Congress. To help achieve one happy world government!
