Thank you Erick. Great column. So good that I was happy to re-subscribe after a few months away.

Joshua 24:6 "... but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Great article, Erick. I think that the more voices, such as yours, combined with like-minded organizations and companies that refuse the world’s short-lived accolades, then the more the woke’s childish insanity will get bored and move on to some other ‘outrage’. Like petulant children they’ll have their tantrum them get tired and nap, when they see people begin standing up to their foolishness. It’s still showing them love through firmness.

Man never creates anything! Humanity only takes what God has created and reassembles the pieces, be it art, music or science. Jesus said we can't serve two masters so each of us will have to decide which master to choose! He also said that we have to take up our cross and follow him every day. The cross was heavy for Jesus, it will be heavy for us! Jesus also said the world hated him and will hate those who follow him and we see that in the woke-o-harem crowd! Erick was spot on as usual, we will all be made to care! Choose wisely!

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I just saw a young man this morning who wants to transition to female. He was told by another psychiatric office that he needed more therapy and to get his mental health condition under control prior to receiving hormones to transition. I am in public mental health. The surgery and treatments to transition are expensive and most likely not covered by insurance. My office does neither surgery or hormonal treatment for transition. I am Catholic and I am not appalled and or horrified when I get these patients nor do I refuse to see them or most likely I can not refuse to see these patients. I am an expert at what I do. I neither judge nor admonish but amazingly with Holy Spirit within me I speak loving kindness and gentleness and get to the real heart of the matter of what drives someone to want to change their body parts. This is sacred and holy work and I am glad I am trusted to do this. Grace and Mercy. That's all.

I think many of us would like to alter things about ourselves.

I’m short, I’d like to be taller. It would be nice to be able to reach the top cabinets in my kitchen without a step ladder, and if I was 6 inches taller, I wouldn’t need to lose weight, or wear heels to be able to see something besides people’s backs in a crowd. I could wear fashions that look great on tall, willowy women, but look ridiculous on short, chunky me.

But here’s the thing...in reality, I know that there is no magic that will make me taller, just as no magic will turn a male into a female, or a female into a male. Now, I can wear 6” platform heels and “pretend” I’m taller, but I’m still going to be a short, chunky female wearing absurd shoes. And a young man can “pretend” to be what he thinks a woman is, but he can’t “be” a woman, anymore than I can be tall.

Learning to accept reality is an important life lesson we all need to learn...I console myself with the thought that if I trip and fall, I don’t have as far to go before I land.

Isaiah 5:

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

25 Therefore is the anger of the Lord kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Things are not going to end well for Woke-o-haram.

I'm currently reading, "When Harry Became Sally" by Ryan T. Anderson. Erick shared the best way to buy it a while back because Amazon doesn't believe the book fits their culture and therefore you can't buy it there...anymore. Please share it again Erick! The book is very straightforward and practical, neither pun intended. I've found myself not allowing my coworkers to know I'm reading this book. It would, without sound basis, be determined I am transphobic or something and I'm not quite ready to retire. I work for a woke Fortune 500 company going out of its way to embrace the woke out of fear of being canceled. Thanks for speaking up Erick!

"the mainstream media and left elevate the fringe doctors of the transgender crowd and demand we treat them seriously"

Of course, they did everything they could to marginalize/ignore/demonize the "fringe doctors" who had proof that Hydroxychloroquine was actually effective and masks weren't.

But they never let the truth get in the way of an agenda they're pushing.

What is the real reason the left goes so far out of its way to conform (yes, they'd say include) the micro-minority? There really must be a reason beyond inclusion.

Few people clearly conclude this as you have. Too many Christians desire comfort both now & in eternity. I’m no fan of pain or discomfort. Yet the sooner we realize the Lord will allow culture to thrive in this brief “now” the better our focus & desire will be for the not yet! Very very nice Erick!
