Amen! What a blessing to no longer be at war with God and o have that peace that passes all understanding, a piece that is available only through our resurrected Savior!
Today, I’m in Savannah. I went to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist for Good Friday services. I can’t wait for Easter Service, it’s gonna be good y’all!
I gotta disagree that the Crucifixion is THE most important event in history.
If you look at the which is more important... Christmas or Easter, to me, its a tie. Without Easter (including all of Holy Week) there was no need for Christmas. But if there was no Christmas, there would be no ability for the events of Holy Week to occur.
Take away the Resurrection, and there's no need for the Crucifixion of Good Friday.
Take away the Crucifixion, and the resurrection of Easter is impossible.
Take away the Garden of Gethsemane (where Christ took all our sins upon Him) and Good Friday and Easter are moot.
Much like the Trinity, you have to have all three events of Holy Week. Take away one, and you cease to have the three.
Yes, the resurrection is the most important event in human history.
But my point was that for those who do not believe, they still cannot dispute that the death of Jesus was the most important event in human history, but that's probably because he didn't die.
Today is a good day for Christians to consider that a red district in Alabama just got flipped to an abortion-rights Democrat. Here is my plea for prayer on this day... that those that practice Christianity take stock of its tendency toward patriarchalism and misogyny... and how this ongoing characterization / personality of the religion not only detracts many from participation, but creates a level of hostility against the religion as being non-inclusive. The history of all major religions includes church motivation to encourage procreation for reasons that church is better served and more stable with greater numbers of followers. But this is a patriarchal perspective that risks seeing procreation as almost socially mechanical, and de-personalizes what is probably one of the most personal and deeply emotional experiences of women.
There is of course a moral and social justification to consider that a gestating fetus deserves some protection under the law... but the problem is that many Christians tend to wield that moral and social justification without much evidence of care and consideration for this profound emotional experience of the woman. The inference is that she is just a vessel for church population growth. I head arguments that "abortion should not be used for birth control". That is a terrible thing to say if a true Christian with all the acceptance, consideration and love that the religion expects.
Use this day to dig deep in reframing the abortion issue from a Christian perspective... both because it is the right thing to do, and because we are going to lose the larger moral war by fighting this battle in the wrong way.
He is and always will be the greatest man to walk the Earth. Without Jesus I would be lost and going to hell but because he gave his wife on the cross today and Rose two days later, and the belief that he done that for my soul and repenting I’m on the way to heaven, this planet is perfect even though a lot of time but I don’t think so
I will say that both his death and resurrection are vital to humanity. If he did not die we do not have a satisfactory payment for sin. If he were not raised from the dead we do not have eternal life! So both are very crucial to our relationship with God. His plan is perfect!

"Piece" should be "peace."
Thank you for your bold message! God is sovereign. He is in control. Jesus IS returning! God plan is unfolding before our eye.
Enjoyed your show today! Happy Easter ✝️

Amen to that! We who believe in Christ will always win, everything else is superfluous
Thank you for helping to keep me where I belong. I so want to be on His path not mine.

Truth to stand on. Thank you. A very blessed Easter to you and your family.
