Here's the question that comes into my mind. Biden and his administration are trying to thread the needle by doing the right thing and appeasing its Muslim constituency. If Muslims feel abandoned by the Democrat party, where are they going to go? Republicans? Doubtful. So, if they become party nomads, will they turn to violence?

These people are insurrectionists and should be rounded up and treated prosecuted as such. US has under the freedoms and Auspecies of the Constitution allowed this riff raff islam in.

islam is not a religion as many would connotate a Religion. islam is an intorellent non religion ideologist deadly cult. "

"Academics, students, and Democrat voters are marching in urban areas calling for the extermination of Jews and a ceasefire for Hamas to rearm. The President of the United States feeling the need to humor these champions of evil is morally repugnant. Do not expect the American press corps to shame him. Since October 7, we have seen them nuance evil too much to not recognize their complicity with it."

Agree these folks supporting Hamas need to face consequences, including the Dems in Congress. Biden needs to stay strong as impossible as that seems. But Islam is a religion, and a very large one at that, you may not agree with it but it is not a cult. Intolerance is in the application of about all religions at some point, mainly by those in charge who want power and warp, twist and hate. Look at the religion of various "causes" as well as the traditional ones. Hamas is the ideologic cult out for power, not all Muslims are like though way too many are, just look at the many "westernized" populace of Iran and then their leaders. Evil & Hate abounds now.

Good article! Just FYI, my wife has been cooking me and my kids Chicken 'n Dumplings for almost 50 years, using my Mother's recipe. Last week she cooked it using your recipe. We are sold on yours'! She had one suggestion " let the dumplings sit for an hour before cooking". They were light as a feather. Thanks

We just need to READ THE BIBLE to know that there is coming SOON a time when we will get a peace agreement signed to start the last seven years. All that is happening today is satan doing ALL he can do to tear down this nation and make the world into a ONE WORLD GOV. That has to happen BEFORE we have the end times as per the Bible.

So we also need to really concentrate on getting right with the Lord with ALL of our Family and Friends.

Thank you for covering this today, as we ALL need to hear it.

Blessings to you Erick

I do not believe Joe Biden's heart is in the right place. I believe he is a career politician whose core beliefs change with the direction of the wind. His beliefs are what is politically expedient for the day. I believe he would change his support to any group/ faction/religion/ country if he thought it meant more votes.

Appalling anti-Semitism that is, for me, absolutely without reason. We must reintroduce the study of Nazi Germany to our young people so they have the facts of where this thinking leads.

And, Jewish Americans need to run from the Democratic party.

How long do the American voters plan to let this go on? Most elections have a clear choice from a policy standpoint but people are too damned worried about who they like or don't like to make the best choice.

The Left, specifically the far Left, has been anti-Semitic for a long time yet it has been ignored because you know, white nationalists. I certainly hope some of these protesters can come out of their propaganda induced mind set and see what’s really going on. I’m not holding my breath.

Our political leaders should be debating different approaches to achieve the same goals and taking that case to the American people.

What are America's goals and objectives according to each party?

Republicans: liberty, economic prosperity, preserving American values and traditions

Democrats: believe that diversity is our greatest strength, protest is among the highest forms of patriotism, repair the soul of this nation, fairer economy

So I can relate the two

- Liberty=diversity

- Economic prosperity=fairer economy

- Preserving American values and traditions=protest/repair the soul of this nation

But how you say something matters. How you define a problem matters to the solution.

-Problem: my horse isn't fast enough or strong enough, solution, faster horses.

- Problem: personal transportation needs to be faster and provide more capabilities, solution, cars.

Republicans have eloquently simple goals but ultimately do not deliver solutions to achieve their goals.

Democrats provide solutions to achieve their goals that make it clear their definition is not aligned with Republicans.

- diversity/fairer economy= Marxism

- protest = violence as a campaign tactic

- repair the soul of this nation= indoctrination of children with progressive left ideology and hate.

Politicians have to dance with whoever brought them to the party. If Biden goes to the party with antisemites he is stuck. Leadership would be doing the right thing across the board, not just having your heart in the right place and daring Democrats to say something.

I appreciate you trying to be analytical with their way of thinking, but I think you may be giving democrats too much credit. They get tired of having to persuade, they just want control, because they know most Americans would reject them if given an accurate pro/con list and factual policy evaluations. They have developed the media to give them cover so their doublespeak is never challenged, and they have their professors at elite colleges eschewing critical thinking, because critical thinking by a majority of the electorate would sink them. Conservatives believe in fair and honest elections. Democrats don't though they will never say it.

A fair interpretation. Perhaps I was writing that for me. Critical thinking is being able to logically and dispassionately examine an argument to determine if it valid and honest is a skill, it requires work. To be able to see a pending action and proactively support it or not requires confidence in the critical thought process.

I agree with everything you said. I also have learned that I don't have to prove I am right to be right, but I at least like to try and persuade.

It's always us that can allow for shades of grey and see the other side's point. They have given that up, which is a weakness and that's why they seek to control all flow of information.

I think we just need to quadruple our efforts to win the presidency, the Senate, and increase Republican control of the House next year. We have less than a year because early voting. Jewish Americans need to move in droves to the Republican party, for their own safety. The democrats have allowed such astounding evil to take hold in their party that the only remedy is to remove every democrat possible from any lever of control. It's obvious from opening the Southern border, to destroying our energy independence, that democrats are about destroying America. And the 'good' democrats are so feckless they allow this destructive behavior to continue. They just need to be defeated across the board.

...and the Republicans who enable the democrats need 'calibrating,' right? For example, here in Georgia, what is going on with the Georgia Republican Party vis-a-vis the Georgia Republican party, INC.? (follow the money and law!) If conservatives don't work together, the prognosis is not healthy, imho.

Islamophobia: the boogeyman that never appears. Some Muslims may catch an unkind word or a suspicious gaze but there's never been any serious Islamophobia since 9-11 when one would have expected it to surface, as much as the Lefties wish there were. They need it to distract from their antisemitism. Or did. Now it's all out in the open and the antisemites, and anti-Israel folks are proud of it. They're "fighting the oppressors" don't ya know?! Those nasty Zionists! "Free Palestine!" - Question: how does one free a place that does not exist?

Remember the 2012 Democratic Convention in Charlotte when the anti-Israel wing nearly succeeded in removing support for Israel from the platform? It took a bunch of arm-twisting to get the delegates back in line. Rest assured no such effort will be successful this go 'round.

Welcome to Germany, 1933.

What would be the out cry if the Israelis took Moslem hostages? The whole attack was to get a massive response from Israel. Hamas deliberately chose soft un defended targets.

The puppet master is Iran. When the world is covered in blood, the 12th Imman will return.

You want a bout of depression? Think about how Reagan would have handled the Hamas invasion and the fact we have American dead, hostages, plus Iran's fingerprints all over this mess.

Separately, the Puin and Ukraine debacle, as well.

Of course if Reagan was president, Russia would likely not have invaded. Heck they were scared of Trump only because they thought he was a loose cannon and could do anything. O and JB are one thing, predictable back-peddlers even as they draw red lines and spout rhetorical support.

i don't usually like the way Sean Hannity poses his long pontificating questions during interviews, but the hour long show with Mike Johnson and a roomfull of conservative republicans was very interesting, if not historic. What do you think?

Expand full comment

Not exactly on point, JR, but it IS an important issue.

I tend to avoid Hannity since Trump arrived. Maybe I wasn't paying attention earlier, but now he solely carries water for Trump, IMHO.

However, when divorced from acting as Trump apologist, he can at times show that he is a very well seasoned reporter. The Johnson interview must have been one of those times. I am glad. I just hope Speaker Johnson focuses upon pressing needs; Spending, Debt, pro-growth policies, education and the military...

Expand full comment

Try to find the show if you can. i think it was significant if for no other reason than the Speaker must have approved the gathering and the topics which may telegraph where he's heading. The non-verbals were as interesting to me as the words spoken. Re: policies...certainly those are a must (you didn't mention the border & related issues?)...but i believe there must also be a priority on rooting out corruption...which has likely been the root cause of many evils, especially spending & debt.

Expand full comment

An oversight on my part, JR. Border definitely important. Many other issues as well. Spending and debt trump all. No pun intended.

I think J. R. is very on point. The democrats controlling everything, from the government, academia, most of the media, social networks, helps keep the sickness their power protects unchecked. The democrat party is useful for only one thing, weakening America for ... equity.
